Time and Place
On the first Friday each December, the annual Old Town Holiday Stroll will officially begin! The festivities will take place in Historic Old Town Albuquerque and is completely free of charge! It is planned to commence rain or shine, so get ready for an evening of holiday fun.
What to Expect
The Old Town Holiday Stroll is one of the most highly anticipated holiday events of the year. The streets and sidewalks of Old Town Albuquerque are lined with thousands of luminarias while the local shops offer fantastic deals and holiday specials. Visitors and locals alike flock to this event to wander through the streets, get started on their Christmas shopping, dine, and simply admire the beautiful decorations. The main feature of this event, however, is the lighting of the Christmas tree! This massive tree is actually made of over 130 different Christmas trees put together. The lighting of this colossal Christmas tree will happen at 6:15 p.m, so be sure you don’t miss it!
