Located at 9201 Balloon Museum Drive NE in Albuquerque, the Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum draws countless curious visitors every year to see their extraordinary exhibits with their own eyes.  The balloon museum hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with free admission on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  You can also enter for free on the first Friday of every month (except during the month of October).

Ever wondered how hot air balloons stay afloat, how they’re made, or how they land?  The Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum has numerous exhibits to teach visitors all about the science and history of hot air balloons.  You can learn about the instruments and equipment needed to fly these colorful crafts, as well as how the weather, atmosphere, and altitude plays a key role in their flight.  They also conduct Stories in the Sky Series, designed for young visitors who love storytelling!
