Cinco de Mayo Folk Art Fest in the North Valley
Saturday, May 5, 2018 10 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at La Parada 8917 Fourth Street NW 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Folk Art Fest with Guest Artists Tami Sioux (Seattle) repurposed antique silverware jeweler, Jerry Montoya (Grants) Tin Repujado, and Bottle Cap Queen Goldie Garcia Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM. Back for another exciting year, local artists Kenny Chavez and David Fisher, present in collaboration with Farm & Table and La Parada Mercantile, the 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Folk Art Fest, Saturday, May 5 from 10 am – 4 pm. This FREE event is open to the public and will take place at Farm & Table/La Parada, located at 8917 4th St. NW, south of Alameda on 4th Street. In addition to the guest artists, 40 other local arts and crafts vendors will be selling unique gifts and one-of-a-kind treasures throughout the day, including jewelry, paintings, recycled art, arts and crafts, the Sol Harvest Farm stand, door prizes at La Parada, festival food from Farm and Table Restaurant (10-2:00), a serape contest, live music and a DJ. Farm & Table will be open for normal brunch hours (9 am – 2 pm).
